Scleroderma
is a chronic, degenerative autoimmune disease that predominantly affects women
in the prime of their lives, but impacts children and men as well. Scleroderma
is characterized by a hardening of the body’s connective tissue due to an
overproduction of collagen. Scleroderma
is a painful, life altering disease that is fatal in its most severe forms. There are an
estimated 300,000 cases of Scleroderma in the United States. There is no way to screen for the disease and
there is no cure. Together, we believe
we can change that. Register to participate in Vertical Cure Sponsor a Vertical Cure participant (select their individual fundraising page) |
